Families Affected by Incarceration
It is important to be include the family members that have been affected by the incarceration of a loved one. Having an incarcerated husband, wife, or child can create stress, worry, financial concerns and so much more to the ones left at home.
Through the Healing Communities model, our desire is to serve those families. We would like to see a Family Leader at each Station of Hope. The Family Leader must have a heart for serving the very special needs of families.

Through the HAT Program, interested family members can enroll in the FAMILY RECOVERY portion of our program. Family Recovery involves the affected family members while the Returning Citizen (former inmate) is participating in the HAT Program. For more information please contact Jared Combs.
FAMILIES MINISTERING TO FAMILIES
Through a relationship with St. Mary Magdalene Parish, we want you to know that you are not alone!Families Ministering to Families (FMF) holds regular meetings for the families of those left behind when a loved one is incarcerated. Remember, you are just as affected as the inmate themselves. "Outmates" need not be isolated by this experience. There are many of us who need to share our stories. By reaching out to one another, we can ease each others' pain.
If you would like to find out more about this organization, please contact the leaders Jean and Jack Canatsey at 407-695-6818.
